I'm a professional organizing coach with over 15 years teaching experience and a Master's Degree in Education. I help individuals and businesses looking to gain a more minimalist approach in their life to organize their residential and business spaces. The benefits are many: peace of mind, greater productivity and creativity, more time to pursue true passions, to name but a few.
I'm an active certified member of NAPO–the National Organization of Professional Organizers and a member and acting ambassador of the Goleta Chamber of Commerce. I love attending MIT forum and SB Startup events to stay abreast of our burgeoning tech community.
A rock climber for many years, I traded in my climbing belt for Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art which combines movement and music. I recently received my green belt and, when I'm not organizing people's homes, businesses and lives, I help teach Capoeira to children.
I'm passionate about playing my part in supporting local, national and global communities and committed to giving 1% of my profits to charities.

After two moves in less than 12 months, we needed help. Amy came in to our very chaotic new home and helped us tackle the trimming of "stuff" in an extremely calm, rational, collaborative, and supportive way. We were all for decluttering but were having trouble getting started. She really helped us get organized (check my profile, I'm a professional project management professional) and EXECUTE on the plan. Working along side Amy, we achieved our goals and the time passed quickly and enjoyably.
She also plugged us in to the best local places to donate and recycle clothing, toys, books, and other household stuff.
I'm so pleased we were lucky enough to be referred to Amy. I highly recommend Amy and have referred her to other colleagues at work (lots of us transferring in from out of the area).

I utilized Amy's organizational coaching advice and thanks to her expertise, professionalism, and scope of experience, I was able to transition to a better employment position that now allows me true growth as a professional.

"Amy helped our school by clearing and re-organizing our camping, sports, and field trip support supplies. She transformed a disheveled collection of leftovers into usable, readily available resources for our school. Teachers are especially appreciative that they can plan camping trips knowing exactly what supplies they do and don't have. Amy's help was invaluable!"
